Good news, our first quarterly training is almost upon us. Training is going to cover a few different things, including documentation, surgical airways, and the Handtevy Pediatric Resuscitation System. What the heck is this you ask? I’ve posted the advisory from Dr. Cushman around base, but in short it’s a new way to prevent pediatric drug dosing errors. It works through an app on our phones, I think it’s going to be pretty useful. It will also work on adult drug doses.

We all need to log into the course catalog on https://collabornation.net/ and
take the course titled “Improving Pediatric Medication Safety: A MLREMS Quality Initiative” before we do our in-house training on it.

The reason we are making changes to our documentation standards is because we believe that in doing so, we may be able to increase our revenue which in turn will make it easier to accommodate suggestions and requests that have been put in the suggestion box or made in person.
